When are people most alone?

People are most alone when they are enjoying music from their headphones. Music can somehow create an invisibly personal bubble where a person can really be isolated from the setting surrounding him. However, being alone is not always a bad thing because personal space sometimes gives a person a chance to relax and feel released. For instance, after working in an urban area such as downtown NYC, a person like I would like to go back home and listen to music that gives a beautiful melody while big bright lights and traffic jams don't take place. The personal bubble gives me a space to "reconstruct" or "repair" myself after having a day in a cacophony working environment in the urban area. All in all, although I am alone in the "bubble," music gives me a mental spa or massage while I'm lying in the it.
